Circles and Squares in the Garden by Terra Design Terra Design is proud to announce Circles and Squares in the Garden based in Seattle. This comprehensive landscaping is a seamless combination of geometric forms in the natural world, balancing contemporary design with the rustic character of the Pacific Northwest. The carefully orchestrated design brings together round flower gardens with square patios. Choosing the best local raw material was essential for this . Bluestone pavers were chosen for their lasting refinement and cedar was used for raised garden beds for durability. Perennial flowers were selected for each round garden bed, providing a color palette that will change through each season. A challenge we faced during this was working on an existing slope of the property. Our talented team of builders, designers, and architects were able to create tiered levels as part of the design that added visual interest and improved access and drainage. An underground irrigation system was also installed to ensure healthy growth with little maintenance, once again supporting the micro-climate. The outcome is a stunning outdoor space that fulfills both function and beauty. Clients are now able to enjoy their mornings with coffee on the square patio overlooking their circular gardens filled with dreamy bursts of fragrant blooms. The success of this has delighted our clients and set a new benchmark for landscaping in Ballard, Beacon Hill, and Mercer Island.
