About This Project

Foundation Refresh Landscape Design Associates Landscape Design Associates took to the centre of Great Falls for a called ‘Foundation Refresh. We created this program to restore and improve the exterior landscape of a quaint home to offer the home the sense of welcome while providing function in the exterior spaces and execution of features within the home. Our team painstakingly designed a design language which was as elegant as purposeful. Centered around the installation of a beautiful granite pathway directing guests from the driveway to the front door, bookended with lush, low-maintenance perennial gardens. Locally sourced natural stone would not only complement the home’s exterior but would stand up against the elements. The existing un-levelled ground around the foundation was one of the struggles we faced. We devised a responsible grading plan to protect the home while improving drainage and enhancing the aesthetics of the landscape. We added color-seasonal flowers and interest-evergreen varieties to take the atmosphere up an entire notch. We ended with a landscape that tied in beautifully with the home all appearing in lowlighting by integrated low-voltage lights. Client was pleased, they said they couldn't be happier how the property looked saying it had vastly improved their property curb appeal and created a beautiful and functional outdoor space for the family.
