Landscape Design Associates Landscape Design Associates is a tiny, local, family-held business practicing Landscape design, planting establishment, and pot gardening throughout the DC metro space. Based from Treefrog Nursery in Great Falls, where much of our installation plants are grown. The nursery grows a diverse array of annually, perennial and shrub plants, focusing mostly on natives that perform exceptionally well in the metro area homes. We do not use herbicides, pesticides, or fungicides on our plants, using diversity of product and natural resources to heal problems that may arise. Along with selling plants to local homeowners, the nursery provides plants for local homeowners. Our view is that a beautifully executed landscape design will increase the use of and enjoyment in any landscape. To us, landscapes should compliment the local ecosystem — they should manage storm water; they should build healthy soil; and they should welcome the sharing of the local ecosystem with insects, birds, and other wildlife. We conclude that a sustainable landscape uses simple maintenance to keep in balance, introducing or removing little from it on a regular basis. We think a landscape should offer its own wild solace to help us regain the rhythm of life.
