In-Progress Signal Mountain Native Plant Garden Signal Mountain Native Plant Garden The Natural Beauty and Benefits of Native Plants from Dream Gardens Landscape Design & Installation Located in scenic Signal Mountain, this garden was designed to integrate into its natural landscape while sustaining local wildlife. Realising this unique topography and soil conditions through an extensive site analysis kickstarted the . We chose a mixture of native wildflowers, grasses and shrubs that would flourish with little upkeep. Pathways and borders were made from natural mulch and locally sourced stone to uphold the organic nature of the garden and allow for more sustainability. We initially felt one of the biggest challenges we had to face was a water-efficient irrigation system to sustain the plants native to the environment without causing disruption from irrigation in the entire ecosystem. So, we had our experienced professionals install a rainwater harvesting setup which saves a considerable amount of water and also waters the plants during dry seasons. What they have achieved is a magnificent landscape that literally bursts with color over the changing seasons and provides a host of life, a quiet backdrop for the people of Signal Mountain, their guests, and the forest animals. This garden is an educational tool that showcases the significance of native plants in sustaining the biodiversity within the local area. The result brought our clients great joy, and as they were looking for an extreme low maintenance, visually beautiful and environmentally and sustainable oriented outdoor space, they achieved exactly what they were after. At Dream Gardens, we view every we take on as an opportunity to add beauty to Chattanooga, Lookout Mountain, Ridgeside, and the surrounding areas with our attention to detail and quality. The Signal Mountain Native Plant Garden is a reflection of our desire to foster beautiful outdoor spaces in a way that is in alignment with nature.
