Perennial Garden for Pool in Westfield, NJ Truesdale Nursery & Landscape Services is excited to present the Perennial Garden for Pool a beautiful transformation to a backyard sanctuary at a residence in Westfield. This illustrates and exemplifies our creativity and quality of work, integrating the sophistication of perennial plants along with a poolside environment. The challenge of providing a perennial garden space while allowing for easy maintenance and cohesive look with the existing landscape was approached with some design innovations. We selected a practical yet aesthetically diverse palette of perennials, including bright daylilies, wonderful lavender plants, and bold coneflowers to create visual appeal throughout the seasons. Durable, natural stone paths were created to link the perennial garden area to the pool area for safe, easy access to the pool while introducing rustic charm. To deter the area's deer population from munching on the new plants, strategic plant selections that had pure beauty were made with consideration to plant selections that wouldn't attract deer. We also added drip irrigation to the design to build plant health while preserving water resources. The final outcome is a stunning, perennial garden that enhances the aesthetics of the pool area while creating an inviting getaway for the homeowners and their guests. The bright colors, textured foliage, and interesting plant selection create a vibrant backdrop for summer events, yet all of the plant selections provide year-round interest and never require much maintenance relying on the perennials' natural abilities to thrive.
