Side Yard Grading - Before and After Truesdale Nursery & Landscape Services is pleased to present the Side Yard Grading we completed in the beautiful towns of Union County, including Berkeley Heights, Chatham, and Westfield. We always strive for quality and client satisfaction, which our before-and-after demonstration shows the type of landscaping work we do. We began our with a site evaluation of the side yard with the client's property. The side yard had a number of issues that involved grading, drainage, and general usability. After spending quite a bit of time reviewing the existing conditions and discussing with the client, we got to work. Phase I was inherently 'prep work' because the layout and areas being impacted needed to be clearly outlined to narrow what we had to tackle and allow us to uniquely tailor our client's landscaping experience. Our firm used high-quality materials in our entire grading process. Everyone involved used compacted soil and a decorative gravel to create a practical and aesthetically pleasing space. We addressed the drainable/indexable land by providing an improved grading solution to both create level ground and facilitate a stable flow of water and mitigate any future drainage issues. The flat, bare, and harsh profiles of the prior state created visual and usable issues by just adding native plants and ornamental grasses along the edges of what we had sculptedleading to beautiful visual aesthetics, as well as an increased likelihood of supporting local wildlife, biodiversity, and sustainability. When we completed the the side yard was a place and blend of beauty and practicality. The space had a visual appeal that if the side yard were merely an "outdoor space" it would be a gotoa backyard escapeto entertain family parties, friends-a place for relaxation or quiet enjoyment. When the was complete, our client was excited to use their new oasisthat included many of the naturalized elements native to the town and spaceand choreography of plants and grasses that our team is known for (as Truesdale Nursery & Landscape Services) and we delivered to everyone involved in the process.
