Beach Front Beauty Cynthia Burns Landscape Design is excited to introduce this unveiling of "Beach Front Beauty". A stunning transformation that is well suited for the coastal flair of Jacksonville Beach. A discerning client deserved nothing less than this completed for them exemplifying our aesthetic, commitment to quality craftsmanship, and innovative design. Just off the beach, the landscape is a balanced combination of native plants and chic hardscaping. We limited our planting to salt-tolerant species such as various beach daisies, sea oats, and palmettos, so that the property would be sustainable as well as floral. Walkways are made with permeable pavers to align with the coastal aesthetic while ensuring appropriate drainage, considering the phenomenon of flooding in sandy soil. The primary challenge of the was providing a usable outdoor living area that would endure the extreme coastal conditions. Using top-of-the-line weatherproof composite materials, our team designed a roomy deck with space for seating and a fire pit to place on it for sunset hangouts. Laying down boulders not only gives the landscape eye-pleasing features, but also provides natural road erosion, bringing together form and function. In the end, the result is such, that the landscape is not only stunning and provides an invitation to relax and enjoy the outdoors, but also embodies the essence of the landscape around it and complements it harmoniously. The transformation delighted the client, who complimented how the design fit their coastal surroundings.
