The landscape design is large in size and embraces an elegant Cape Cod style filled with native California plantings, natural stone paths, and intentional plant beds that respect the surrounding hillside. The emphasis on sustainability started with selecting drought-resistant native plants in order to have the landscape compliment the natural beauty of the site. The use of locally sourced and environmentally friendly materials that include custom selected river stones and reclaimed wood supports the design while providing texture. A striking custom pergola made from sustainably harvested timber creates the ideal setting for rest, while outdoor furniture fills each seating area with cozy, elegant weather resistant different finishes.
