About This Project

Midtown Makeover by Outdoor Makeover & Living Spaces Outdoor Makeover & Living Spaces proudly presents the Midtown Makeover, a that transformed an urban garden into a beautiful outdoor environment. We were invited to work in an urban garden, servicing the wonderful communities of Buckhead, Brookhaven, and beyond, which faced challenges due to limited sun and poor drainage in the small, underutilized garden. Addressing the challenges, we took advantage of local native plants in a large landscaping to ensure minimal maintenance and sustainability would be part of the . The included a stone patio made of locally sourced bluestone, giving an area for family and friends to enjoy the garden space. Next to the patio, we designed beautiful raised garden beds which served as both visually appealing and aromatic and easily enjoyed with colorful perennials and culinary herbs. To help the pop with visual interest, decorative boulders were placed throughout the garden and a meandering gravel pathway directed the eye and drew your attention to the garden and the areas of interest. Outdoor lighting highlighted the children's play areas and outdoor cooking area so the center of the garden could be enjoyed anytime of the day or evening. A final and important element of the was overcoming the drainage issue, and we built an effective drainage system using permeable pavers to allow rainwater to absorb and manage flooding, ensuring valuable plants would survive and thrive in the garden. The beautiful outdoor oasis we created brought joy to the family and provides a peaceful faraway all can escape to. The family expressed enthusiasm and multiple times told us that they were so happy with the quality of the outdoors living spaces, and they happening always of seeing and experiencing all that Outdoor Makeover & Living Spaces has to offer the world of construction and outdoor spaces.
