This highlights the harmony between comfort and functionality, dissolving the boundaries between the interior and exterior of the home. At the heart of the patio is a custom-built fire pit that uses high-quality natural stone to create warmth and comfort for family togetherness and quiet evenings. Surrounding the fire pit is a carefully curated seating area with weather-resistant fabric furniture that fits the natural aesthetic of the landscape and welcomes guests to sit. This area is bordered by lush plantings of native shrubs and ornamental grasses to add a layer of privacy and beautiful views. This presented several challenges with a steep grade and drainage issues. Our team expertly leveled the earth and developed a drainage system to discharge water and avoid cutting off the durability and stability of the patio in the long term. The surface of the patio is done with high-quality pavers for appearance and resistance to the elements. The screened porch has retractable screens to allow outdoor lifestyle enjoyment during the summer while keeping the bugs away. This added flexibility gives guests and their families greater use of the area for entertaining or quiet evenings under the stars.
