28th Avenue by Urban Botanics Urban Botanics has recently finished the execution of an incredible landscaping at '28th Avenue' in Alameda. This engaging reflects our commitment to sustainable and modern design, created to satisfy the client and improve the local ecology. The design included all natives chosen specifically for low water usage and minimal maintenance, feasible in the Bay Area micro-climate. Many drought tolerant shrubs, ornamental grasses, and flowering perennial plants were chosen to provide colorful visual impact and habitat in bloom throughout the seasons for the local pollinators. A primary feature of this is a permeable stone pathway that gracefully navigates the garden and promotes water drainage and runoff. The uneven terrain provided us an opportunity to address several planning factors. For example, we needed to consider grading and leveling to ensure the walk was both aesthetically pleasing and accessible to pedestrians. Using our experience and knowledge of the best available materials, we leveraged locally sourced stone and eco-friendly mulch to enhance the natural beauty of the . The finished produced a beautiful outdoor spacea hidden gem that is consistent with the existing architecture while standing out as a visually-stunning that increased curb appeal. The client was ecstatic saying, "I had no idea my yard could look like this!" and thus perhaps appreciated Urban Botanics’ special attention to detail and commitment to quality the best. This enhances 28th Avenue while highlighting Urban Botanics’ commitment to building sustainable landscapes that improve neighborhoods and enhance communities. Therefore, it was rewarding to be able to serve the Alameda community.
