Based in the quaint community of La Grange, this was developed with the intention of transforming an exterior area into a relaxing retreat for our clients. The features a stunning bluestone patio, which was constructed of an exceptional grade of bluestone, valued for its durability and attractiveness. This natural stone exhibits a beautiful bluish-gray hue and offers a striking contrast to the lush greens surrounding it. Our team was compensated with a challenge, even for experienced professionals, ensuring proper drainage and not having a slanted surface. This was all accomplished with careful grading and a strong drainage system. The patio is surrounded by a flourishing garden of Oak Leaf Hydrangea, chosen based on their attractive foliage and color. Not only do these hydrangeas provide color to the material and floral elements of the composition, but they support an overall sense of privacy and seclusion as well. We designed the hydrangea beds, so not all of the hydrangeas bloom at once, which dramatically changes the aesthetic value over the course of the year. In addition to the hydrangeas, our team added several natives, so beneficial insects and birds can enjoy these plants and improve the ecology of the area. Our craftsman paid careful attention to detail, from site preparation to final installation. The end product is a perfect blend of hardscapes and softscapes, designed from the client’s vision and contractors to serve their lifestyle.
