About This Project

Summary: Petaluma Front Yard by Hall Landscape Design Hall Landscape Design undertook a private in the beautiful community of Petaluma, to revitalize the front yard of a historic home. We partnered with our clients to create a beautiful outdoor space for improved curb appeal while maintaining a connection to the architectural style of the home. Our design included a myriad of native California plants such as vibrant lavender and drought resistant succulents arranged for year-round color and textures. High quality decomposed granite pathways invitingly wind throughout the garden. To ensure eco-sustainability we designed and installed an irrigation system to their irrigation system to reduce water use and keep their plants healthy. The main challenges of the included the unlevel site and bad soil. We were able to excavate and amend the topography to create a level garden and help support plant health and growth. The use of decorative boulders and natural stonework helped add layers of interest and elegance to the space. The end result is a stunning front yard that not only complements the residence, but connects the home to the beauty of the Petaluma area. The clients are very happy with the overall results and love the combination of decorative and functional landscape design. This illustrates Hall Landscape Design's craftmanship and innovative landscape design in the greater North Bay area including Napa, Sonoma, and Vallejo.
