Santa Rosa Drought Tolerant Lawn Replacement Hall Landscape Design recently finished a unique landscaping called "Santa Rosa Drought Tolerant Lawn Replacement" that demonstrates sustainable practices and beautifies outdoor spaces. Hall Landscape Design serves the following fun and lively communities; American Canyon, Fairfield, Green Valley, Napa, Sonoma, Suisun City, Vallejo, Yountville, Petaluma and Santa Rosa with the same quality of work and design. To kick off the , we looked closely at the site to assess the characteristics of the climate and soil. Then, the existing turf was stripped away and in its place, drought resistant plants selected. Native grasses, succulents, and ornamental shrubs were selected to not only conserve water but to attract local wildlife as well. We used a high quality organic mulch to help keep the soil moist and reduce garden maintenance. One of the greatest features of the was how to address the integration of the new landscape with the existing architecture and hardscapes. This was accomplished by creating modest and natural transitions between the hardscape and new landscaping through decorative gravel pathways and appropriate boulders. The landscape includes a drip irrigation system to efficiently deliver water to its plants during the driest months. The outcome is a beautiful and dynamic landscape that respects underlying principles of sustainability and low maintenance. The client showed a great deal of excitement, especially when we were able to show them their new lawn and how it will help keep their water bills down while also creating a welcoming outdoor gathering space for their family. Hall Landscape Design has again shown its commitment to provide quality work and client satisfaction through the creation process of potentially drought-tolerant oasis landscaping in Santa Rosa.
