About This Project

Summary: Bromfield 1 - KDTurner Design Located in Boxford, the Bromfield 1 is an example of serious design and quality craftsmanship by KDTurner Design in Boxford as a major landscaping overall. The creation seamlessly balanced functions and the area around the existing residential property landscape, in lovely terms of elements both hardscaping and softscaping. Local stone was used as the hardscaping material for the work we completed, building materials that will last and blend in with the environment. The property creates a stunning flagstone walk that gently takes visitors through a lush perennial garden as they offer a severity of seasonal color. There is a custom, reclaimed-brick fire pit as gathering spot that provides a seating area to settle in earlier in the evening, and as the night gets cooler. We created a tiered planting bed with native shrubs and decorative grasses to make the beautiful landscape even better. The new planting and design was more than the crafting of an enjoyable landscape designed specifically for the property owners - it was a way to a sustainable landscape with some attention to preserving and inviting local wildlife to the new property landscape. One of the biggest challenges of the design and installation of all the landscape in the new residential property came down to the landscape’s grade being so uneven. We saved the day by engineering a series of retaining walls that define the landscape and provide a corrected grading system of elevation for their plantings and beds. And permeable pavers provided for the driveway space helped with our water management approach. The final space that was delivered creating an outdoor living space for our clients by way of hardscaping and softscaping/has left the clients more than they expected. The Bromfield 1 undertaking stands for the quality and innovative landscape services that KDTurner provides in our service areas (Ispwich, Marblehead, and Wellesley) and how beautiful each area has to offer in outdoor living space to the homeowners long enjoyed value and beauty too.
