Daniel Island Outdoor Living by REMARK Located in the beautiful setting of Daniel Island, the "Daniel Island Outdoor Living" by REMARK is another example of our commitment to the highest levels of quality and innovation in landscaping. Working with clients from the Charleston area to Folly Beach, Isle of Palms, and beyond, we take pride in creating outdoor environments that connect with the ecological context. In this , we included a gorgeous multi-level patio built with beautiful natural stone pavers and will produce a great foundation for outdoor dining and gatherings that is both incredibly durable and attractive visually. Lush native plantings were interwoven all around the patio, which not only contributes to the local ecosystem but provides lovely pops of color throughout the seasons. A custom built-in fireplace with seating, creates a cozy gathering space for family and friends. One of the main challenges we faced in designing this space was the slope of the site. Our landscape construction team developed a series of retaining walls using locally sourced materials to structure the landscape and create new levels and usable spaces. Retaining structures not only add beauty, but also provide stability, and enhanced drainage solutions to protect against future water intrusion issues. The outcome is an ambient outdoor living space that will far exceed the expectations of the clients. Whether it is the peaceful water feature enticing the local wildlife, or the connected pathways encouraging exploration, much thought and effort tied into each component. Our clients are delighted and already drawing in friends and family to help celebrate and unwind in their sanctuary. Our passion for landscaping is demonstrated through the new outdoor space that was expertly transformed, and captures the client's vision for a outdoor space for entertaining, relaxing and enjoying nature.
