Summary: Curb Appeal - The Crescent Neighborhood The Crescent neighborhood now hosts a remarkable transformation thanks to REMARK. This exemplifies REMARK's ongoing commitment to quality landscaping and innovative design. Located in the heart of Charleston, our team was hired to improve the curb appeal of several homes situated on a busy street and make them inviting and cohesive, but still true to the area's charm. The included a variety of landscaping elements; native plants, bluestone paths, and custom outdoor lighting, all of which highlighted the natural beauty of the homes warmed by the sun. We chose high-quality sustainable materials such as granite sourced from local quarries for the paths and drought-resistant plants, to create a space that would uphold its beauty with minimal maintenance. One of the biggest hurdles we encountered throughout the was the topography of the neighborhood, which required thoughtful design and implementation in regards to drainage and erosion. REMARK brought their experienced staff and approach to grading the site to design and implement walls and terraces, that were beautiful and functional in the space. The finished is a stunning landscape that not only increases the curb appeal of the homes but inspires the community to engage more with the exterior space. Clients expressed their joy with the gardens and hardscaping that lured neighbors and guests to enjoy the exteriors. This is another that shows how REMARK continues to develop a reputation for intervention across the Charleston area from Folly Beach to Mount Pleasant and beyond.
