Located in the heart of Queens, this involved the design and construction of several raised planters that seamlessly fit into the client's existing garden. For the planters, we selected high-quality, sustainably sourced cedar wood, offering longevity and a pleasing aesthetic that blends with the urban environment. We constructed planters of different heights for visual interest as well as optimal conditions for plants. The planters were filled with a soil mix that drained well, and self-watering systems would help to sustain healthy plant growth while making it easy for the homeowner to care for the vegetation. As with most landscaping s, we faced challenges along the way. Limited means of site access and the need to preserve existing tree roots were the most significant challenges we encountered. Our team still managed to work skillfully to implement design and construction methods that would eliminate disruption to surrounding plant perimeters while maximizing the design space. The stunning array of raised planters, now overflowing with seasonal blooms and greenery, greatly enhanced the beauty of this property while providing productive outdoor gardening space for the client. We completed this on time and met the budget, making our client thrilled with their new garden oasis.
