Mill Basin, Brooklyn - Landscape Enhancements by Dragonetti Brothers Landscapes In Mill Basin, Brooklyn, we successfully completed a landscaping of elegance and purpose. At Dragonetti Brothers Landscapes, we planned design and implementation enhancements to invigorate the outdoor space into a relaxing retreat for our clients. The utilized beautiful, native plantings, including ornamental grasses and perennial flowers, as they were well suited to the climate and environment. We created a landscaped stone path of locally-sourced bluestone, developing an attractive, resilient connection between several areas of the garden. One of the main challenges we took on was the slope to the site, where we worked through some creative grade solutions to drain properly and limit erosion along the way. The thoughtful landscapers carved the site and added retaining walls in natural stone, both enhancing the existing landscape we constructed and evolving further aesthetic appeal and stability. To complement soft landscape lighting on both sides of the major planting, we added up-lighting to areas we felt deserved attention showcasing evenings at their potential while providing for safety and access. The exposed structure formed by the contractor for the living area, including a creative space under a pergola, brought the perfect interruption to highest two slopes at the parties' outdoor living area. At the end of the , we had offered a space that thoroughly integrated nature and design, exceeding any expectations offered by our clients while creating an ambient sanctuary that was for themtheir home. This provided a space demonstrating the craft of design and art of Dragonetti Brothers Landscapes where it mattered mostthat was exemplary of their commitment to excellence at every step of the process and was a botanically directed opportunity poignant to local Brooklyn practices in the heart of Brooklyn.
