Canton - Incorporation of Reclaimed Brick Donnellan & Sons Landscaping is proud to present the Canton , an outstanding example of our commitment to sustainability and craft. Located in the scenic West Hartford area, the offers a charm of patina and rustic appeal the reclaimed brick adds to the beauty of the natural landscape. The pathway design gives an inviting feel when it's situated in a lush garden built with reclaimed bricks from historic buildings. The delight of the reclaimed bricks is not just their character; it's our goal of keeping an oversized environmental footprint lower through local use. Along with the bricks, we pulled in other landscaping feats; we created perennial flower beds with color, organized boulders, and incorporated shrubbery that acted sustainably, ultimately balancing the hardscape and softscape. A primary challenge of the was both the integrity of the reclaimed brick and the design flow. Our team tested the boundaries of craftsmanship and skill to provide stabilization for the reclaimed brick elements while making sure for longevity.
