Summary - March Checklist by Le Jardinet Le Jardinet is proud to have completed the 'March Checklist' landscaping , a careful process that touched multiple outdoor spaces in the Greater Seattle area, including Ames Lake, Bellevue and Redmond, and was purposefully designed to prepare residential landscapes for the spring season ahead, and to ensure that your property looked terrific and worked well in its environmental context. The various key members of our team had multiple jobs to complete as part of this lengthy checklist process. Our first task was a comprehensive site evaluation of existing sites, while assessing overgrown areas or plants that were underperforming in designated spaces. With excellent knowledge, we were able to ultimately select a mix of native species and drought-tolerant plants best suited to the respective microclimates of each place for sustainability and low-maintenance aspects. We implemented plantings while utilizing premium, organic mulch, high-quality soil amendments, and decorative stones in order to improve the aesthetic and health of each garden. Additionally, we also incorporated quality edging to separate out garden beds and improve the visual flow. Difficult challenges included rocky situations in some properties and identifying water drainage problems that were disrupting plant growth in certain areas. A skilled and knowledgeable team was able to brainstorm and utilize smart drainage solutions, including French drains and rain gardens, to plan for and remediate the runoff. The end result was nothing short of stunning. Homeowners in Carnation and Sammamish were thrilled and excited to see their gardens rejuvenated after our experienced, hard work, with colorful blooms and plenty of lush green foliage to ensure a season of fun. Our attention to detail, and workmanship, from Le Jardinet, not only accomplished additional curb appeal, but also provided value-added benefits to their properties.
