Purple and Silver Border by Le Jardinet Nestled in the heart of the Greater Seattle area, we at Le Jardinet converted a modest suburban yard into an exquisite landscape through our 'Purple and Silver Border' . Serving communities that include Ames Lake, Bellevue, Carnation, and beyond, our team came together to develop a breathtaking visual appeal through careful planning and execution. The design complexly wove together pops and spikes of purple flowers and elegant silver foliage with a stunning variety of plant selections, including lavender, heuchera, and ornamental grasses. Durable materials that fit the design aesthetics, like natural stone edging and quality mulch, were chosen for long-lasting beauty and low maintenance. One element of the design challenge was the client's yard having an uneven surface, which needed grading to create some flow. Our skilled team designed tiered planting beds, which eventually solved the drainage issues, especially when the yard was experiencing torrential rainforest-like rains in the spring and summer. The tiered beds added interest, depth, and dimension to the landscape. The client was delighted with the 's finish, the colorful and textured plants looked stunningly composed in their outdoor landscape and provided glittering backgrounds for outdoor gatherings.
