Summary: Brazelberries by Le Jardinet Located in the Greater Seattle area, Le Jardinet's 'Brazelberries' took a simple backyard and transformed it into a luscious, engaging landscape full of color and life. Our design team created a charming edible garden showcasing a variety of Brazelberries, admired for their sumptuous fruits and beautiful foliage. We offered value to the existing landscape using fantastic native soil amendments and sustainable materials to ensure each of these special berry plants thrived. We carefully replaced much of the site with raised beds in a beautiful naturally weathered cedar to enhance durability and usability. Planning for the diverse exposure types of light around the site proved to be a challenge for our design team. We had to think carefully what species should be planted where to ensure sustainable growth. Our landscape designers skillfully mapped out the design elements to arrive at a site that provides balance between the sun and shade, and care was given to maximize each plant's potential while still encouraging a beautiful aesthetic. Altogether, a plush landscape that creates sensation while emphasizing conscious gardening was created. The Brazelberries give warmth and color along with ornamental grasses and colorful perennials, impacting looking at this garden. The raised beds make for easy harvesting and ease of care. We were thrilled to hear the clients were happy the transformation; they expressed the quality of our work and the Le Jardinet level of detail they enjoyed in their space. This πrevails a lifestyle approach to beautifying a yard that focuses on sustainability as much as aesthetics, showcasing how stunning and functional landscaping can blur the distinction separating these two critical land-use practice areas.
