Congress Park Home The Congress Park Home from Bloom Concrete & Landscape Design is a gorgeous conversion in Steamboat Springs located in a gorgeous portion of American in Routt County, Colorado in the Yampa Valley. Our team took up the challenge of redesigning this outdoor space for better functionality and aesthetics. A balance of native plantings, hardscaping, and design. The walkway and patio were made with locally sourced stone to create a durable surface while helping the colors and forms blend into the landscape surrounding the home. Professional craftsmen custom built the patio and with permanent seating and fire pit to compliment each other for a great gathering place for families and friends! A major obstacle was the sloping ground needing complicated grading and drainage methods. With advanced techniques, we ensured the water was flowing correctly to prevent erosion and to maintain a healthy and green lawn. Drought-resistant plants were chosen to suit the climate and require minimal maintenance while offering the most colour impact. Thereby ensuring a colourful garden that is alive with color right through the seasons. The client loved the final design and even more than they had imagined. The refurbished Congress Park Home is now a peaceful retreat, and it blends seamlessly with the natural landscape surrounding it right there on their doorstep. Creating intentional spaces and attention to detail with quality craftsmanship is just one of many examples of the Bloom Concrete & Landscape Design philosophy of delivering excellence and exceeding customer expectations within every detail.
