About This Project

Encinitas Tropical G7 Landscape Design & Construction is thrilled to introduce the 'Encinitas Tropical' , a stunning transformation of a residential property in Carlsbad, California. This landscaping was stimulated by the client's desire for a tropical oasis that felt at home along the coast. Our designers thoroughly mapped out the plan and decided to include plants that were lush and included varying species of native plants such as hibiscus, bird of paradise, and bougainvillea that are colorful year-round. Materials consisted of natural stone walkways and locally sourced river rock to further enhance appearance and promote sustainable plantings with decreased water usage. One of the challenges we faced as we constructed this was the site had some degree of uneven grading. Creating a design for the land required innovative grading concerns for proper drainage and accessibility. We embraced these challenges and turned the property into a new landscape, creatively working through every challenge to connect one area of the property to the next. The highlight of the 'Encinitas Tropical' was completing the custom built, multilevel deck, adding usable exterior space, and an ambient water feature to add nature sounds. A composition of ambient lighting enhanced tropical foliage, while providing an enchanting outdoor entertaining area in the evening. The final result exceeded all of the client's expectations, and we are proud to have provided an oasis of beauty, comfort, and relaxation!
