About This Project

This is a for NEW FAVORITE PLACE by Coogan's Design Build The NEW FAVORITE PLACE , located in the heart of Fort Mill, illustrates Coogan's Design Build's belief for creating beautiful landscapes that resonate nature with their client’s visions. This residential retreat captures essence of native plants, shaped hedges, and elegant stone pathways that lead you through the space and explore at every turn. A key piece of this is the custom patio made of locally sourced flagstone that can withstand high traffic while its stunning visual presence makes it a welcoming space for friends and family. A variety of softscape was enhanced in the , with flowering perennials and ornamental grasses to provide enhanced biodiversity with local pollinators included. Challenges in the included varying soil conditions as well as drainage issues, all of which were handled by our professional team to best develop a landscape that will last year round. An irrigation system was added to fill in on hydration after ensuring that every plant was happy while also reducing water waste. The initial landscape surpassed the clients expectations in creating a clean respite to their home that can create the perfect environment for them as well as its properties for sustainable development. With seating, a fire pit, and a clean setting, it was easy to appreciate the landscape for their family to unwind together in the company of their own created space. Coogan's Design Build was proud to create this tranquil outdoor environment for this family, and we look forward to building spaces for clients in Charlotte, Lake Wylie, Matthews, and beyond.
