BACKYARD UPGRADE by Coogan's Design Build Coogan's Design Build is excited to share the 'BACKYARD UPGRADE' , a renovation, landscaping in Charlotte and surrounding areas including: Fort Mill, Lake Wylie, and Matthews. Our team carefully redefined this outdoor area into a beautiful space that fits the international client's needs. The design included dynamic native plants, long-lasting hardscaping, and entertaining outdoor living spaces. We created lovely stone paths, a custom fire pit, and a pleasant water feature; all of which helped enhance the natural features of the backyard, while providing an easy to take care of space. We utilized high-quality materials, like local material stone and sustainable, environmentally friendly plants to ensure durability and sustainability. One of the big challenges was the sloped yard; we needed to consider the slope and how to create a flat usable area. Our team designed and terraced the back yard, allowing for separated spaces for relaxing, dining, and gardening while creating a thoughtful flow from space to space. The final reveal showcased a beautiful backyard garden that the clients utilize for gathering friends and family as well as enjoying a quiet evening outside. The elements were all carefully selected to fit their specific lifestyle. The 'BACKYARD UPGRADE' not only enhanced the curb appeal of the home but enhanced the family's outdoor living space!
