'OUR WORK' by Coogan's Design Build Located in the vibrant community of Charlotte, Fort Mill, Lake Wylie and surrounding communities, Coogan's Design Build is excited to be able to debut 'OUR WORK', a landscaping that changes outdoor spaces. It is a representation of our commitment to quality and creativity and our attention to detail, all focused on enhancing our clients' outdoor beauty. The started with an in-depth consultation on the specific needs and wants of the clients. Our team encountered several site's challenges, including uneven grades, poor drainage, and no defined sense of space. With our imagination and visual skills, we were able to provide a landscape solution that successfully combined aesthetics with use and function. Notable features of this include a gorgeous multi-level patio formed from natural stone that serves as the centerpiece for gatherings. We incorporated terribly drought-tolerant native plants instead of using traditional and high-maintenance annuals that would provide additional seasonal color. The garden layout and plant suggestions were more focused on small gathering spots for clients and friends and creating peaceful areas to gather and enjoy. Lighting was used throughout the space to highlight the features of the landscape and allow nighttime use of the outdoor space. We tackled the site drainage issues and had a modern rain garden installed to assist with naturally re-direct the stormwater run-off back into the landscape while enhancing the environmental benefits of their property. Our skilled team worked as hard as they could to strive for the highest quality of materials, although difficult to find, cloud, and from the client's handmade wooden arbor, to the pavers used in the path stone, the most expensive looking paver when it was put in a random way, we again created a value for the client in the landscape. The end result exceeded all of the client's expectations with multiple designs that provided not only an aesthetically pleasing outdoor property that invites a neighbor to stop over, but added extreme value to the property and allowed simple outdoor designated and defined gathering spots on their property. Above all, the client provided glowing feedback in every possible way to demonstrate satisfaction, this is centered on a love of creating great outdoor property design.
