Children's Retreat from Piala's Nursery & Garden Shop Inc Located in an established community, the nursery and garden shop Piala’s Nursery & Garden Shop Inc. is pleased to offer the 'Children's Retreat' an evocative, engaging outdoor space for children to play, create, and explore in Big Bend, Brookfield, Delafield, Dousman, Eagle, Genesee Depot, Menomonee Falls, Mukwonago, Muskego, New Berlin, North Lake, North Prairie, Pewaukee, Wales, Waukesha, and Wind Lake. The began with the idea to create a safe, engaging environment that would expose children to nature. The landscape our team thoughtfully created is filled with textures, colors, shapes, and sounds that are a treat for the senses! This space also includes native plants, flower beds, and an exciting butterfly garden. Children are now able experience the magic of outdoors! One of the challenges we faced was to integrate natural play features while ensuring safety and accessibility. Our qualified supervision and staff worked with locally sourced materials that include natural timber and durable, eco-friendly rubber mulch. We created a natural play area that intentionally fits into the landscape. Children can now climb logs and boulders to inspire active movement and bring an element of adventure. Throughout the , our team focused on sustainability by choosing plants that are hardy in the local climate with minimal maintenance in mind. Not only are we pleased with the outcome of the , but we love sharing our knowledge of environmental stewardship with children while creating beauty in the Piala's Nursery & Garden Shop Inc. children's retreat. The result is a spectacular space for engagement, which delighted the children of the community as well as parents/caregivers because, at the same time, they can relax knowing their child is safe in a beautiful, enriching, and stimulating environment.
