About This Project

- Country Living by Piala's Nursery & Garden Shop Inc. In the beautiful woods of Wisconsin, the "Country Living" , designed by Piala's Nursery & Garden Shop Inc., is a wonderful example of the blend of rustic charm combined with modern landscaping techniques. Working in the busy communities of Big Bend, Brookfield, Delafield, and surrounding areas, we sought to turn a standard backyard into an inviting outdoor space. The was built on a thoughtful layout including native perennial gardens, a fire pit area, and extensive stone paths built with local flagstone. Our designers worked with the homeowner to ensure the yard is representative of their love of nature and is practical to maintain. A severe challenge we faced was the order of the ground. The slopes required strategic grading to accommodate proper drainage and erosion control. We successfully installed a selection of native plants in a rain garden that adjacent to persistent areas, not only animal impact but also supported sustainability within the water cycle. By using reclaimed wood for raised garden beds, and decorative boulders to offer texture and depth, the final landscape blended naturally into the woodland. The finished product became an identity for the family for years that would provide an outdoor space for everyone to enjoy family gatherings or even quiet evenings on their backyard star-gazing. The clients shared how pleased they were with the transformation of their backyard, the quality of our work, and attention to detail. Piala's Nursery & Garden Shop Inc. has again completed a successful with "Country Living," providing a beautiful usable outdoor space while respecting the land and enhancing the quality of life for our clients in Waukesha and Pewaukee.
