Fire Pits & Outdoor Fireplaces by J. Bucci Landscape Design At J. Bucci Landscape Design, we have recently finished generating a spectacular landscaping called 'Fire Pits & Outdoor Fireplaces', which has turned the outside spaces of our clients in Barnegat, Beach Haven and Long Beach Island, and surrounding regions, into comfortable spaces. This highlights our commitment to quality workmanship, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of our clients' needs. The main focus of the was a custom stone fire pit which was made of local bluestone and river rock. It was constructed to fit the natural area and had an incredible circular area surrounding the fire pit made with weather-proof teak wood. All materials were selected based on heat durability so that the fire pit could be used year-round. One of the obstacles we ran into was the uneven-grade of the area in the clients’ backyard. Our skilled team graded the area so the area wasn’t grade broke, before constructing the fire pit, while making sure it was stable and became a tiered area of access. This not only made the area more functional and more accessible but allowed us to add some landscaping features that were low-maintenance perennial gardens that bloom in all seasons, while adding beautiful colors around the fire pit. Along with the fire pit, we incorporated a patio outdoor fireplace that all is designed with rustic tumbled stone veneer. The fireplace really provides warmth and adds a unique touch with a custom chimney. It adds an additional functional cooking area to the space as well as provides a new and unique luxury touch for when friends and family gather. Our clients were delighted when we finished their space. The client’s outdoor area was transformed into a serene oasis. This property improvement amplified the beauty of their property while providing a functional entertainment area. Even after the was finished, the clients continued to incorporate soft ambient lighting in the surrounding landscaping which made the space a retreat of beauty, when entertaining friends and family, under the stars.
