Bucci Landscape Design is excited to showcase a completed of an Outdoor Brick Fire Pit & Barbecue for the clients living in a beautiful coastal community on Long Beach Island. The offers an inviting space to enjoy nature while being functional, aesthetic, and comfortable, making it a welcoming place for family and friends to come together. The prominent feature is a stunning handcrafted fire pit made from high-quality, long-lasting brick pavers, creating a visual impact while also being strong and resistant to the elements. Additionally, we designed natural stone seating around the fire pit to allow guests to enjoy the warmth of the fire while gathering under the stars. The barbecue space is designed with a custom-built grill station and free-standing granite countertops for food preparation and serving, ensuring our clients can cook and host unforgettable summertime cookouts. A significant design challenge was the sloping terrain of the backyard. Our design team was able to very carefully create a level terrace area with the use of retaining walls made from the same brick material utilized in the construction of the fire pit. The retaining walls created both stability and safety for the fire pit area, and created an elegant transition between the landscaping terrace and the overall landscaping design. The is also designed to accommodate ambient lighting from day to night. We designed and installed soft LED lights centered in the fire pit and barbecue area to create an inviting atmosphere while gathering in the evenings. We also included a lush landscape perimeter with native plants and shrubs to provide privacy to our clients from neighbors, while also providing a natural backdrop to the new fire pit and barbecue. Upon completion, our clients could not have been happier with the transformation of their outdoor space. The combination of quality craftsmanship, design, and landscaping detail were much more than they envisioned. The Outdoor Brick Fire Pit and Barbecue is proudly the point of warmth and joy to be shared with one family, yet will benefit the families of Barnegat, Surf City, Tuckerton and beyond!
