Beach Style Pool Hardscape & Patio by J. Bucci Landscape Design In Barnegat, J. Bucci Landscape Design's 'Beach Style Pool Hardscape & Patio' takes outdoor living to a higher level. This incredible odyssey represents both a functional and coastal style, perfect for a family looking to enjoy the relaxed beach atmosphere in that unique Long Beach Island environment. This began with the simple request of creating a peaceful retreat that would mimic the tranquil nature of the beach. Our designers delivered on that concept with a very large pool patio composed of significantly explerior rated slip resistant pavers that closely resembled the natural color of the sandy beaches. The patio itself is combined with stone, that is exposed, weather resistant, long lasting, and naturally colored. The pool deck area has a UV stabilized composite, that is also weather resistant, and will last through years of family gathering and representatives in the outdoors. Another challenge we faced was the natural slop of the site which required consideration in grading to make the site level for a flat pool area. Our landscape architects worked closly with engineers to design a multi-level multi-tiered hardscape. This addressed site drainage, site level, and aesthetic appeal. The result is a gorgeous pool area that was designed into the site with lush native plants around it which added to its beautiful tropical feel. To enhance the environment, we railroaded/built a large fire pit area constructed from natural boulders around a custom beautiful fire pit. After the sun sets every evening, family and friends can discover the starry night around a concrete chamfered custom fire pit. We applied softscape components, ornamental grasses and perennial color, to this natural canvas to create a wonderful tranquil environment, low maintenance, and sustainable addition. Overall our clients were excited the outcome and now have modern freshly designed outdoor space that represents their cultural relaxed beach lifestyle.. Every detail matters to us at J.
