WOODSY OUTDOOR KITCHEN Coogan's Design Build is excited to introduce the WOODSY OUTDOOR KITCHEN, a remarkable enhancement to outdoor space in the Charlotte area and neighboring communities including Fort Mill, Lake Wylie, and Weddington. This outdoor kitchen beautifully integrates with nature while providing world-class outdoor culinary space transforming the ordinary backyard to a culinary escape amongst lush nature. The defining feature of this outdoor kitchen is the fully customized stone grill island with high-end outdoor kitchen appliances well suited for culinary enthusiasts. Premium-grade granite countertops were used not only for the durability and extended outdoor longevity, but for the touch of rich and earthen tones that match the outdoor surroundings. Weather-resistant cabinetry was also created from sustainable sources and provided ample storage while maintaining an earthy look blended into the outdoor environment. One challenge faced was integrating the kitchen into the existing landscape with large mature trees and unequally graded terrain. Our skilled carpenters leveled the site while preparing for consistent drainage and stability while working with conserving the natural beauty of the adjacent wooded area. Stone walkways and decorative boulders were utilized to enhance rustic flavor with leading guests from the kitchen to the dining area with comfortable seating and lighting to hang around after a meal. Completion of this outdoor kitchen incorporated lush plantings of native shrubs and ornamental grasses to provide further privacy and habitat for local wildlife to cultivate a natural ecosystem. The overall result is an inviting outdoor kitchen that met the client's desire and did not disappoint. The WOODSY OUTDOOR KITCHEN is yet another example of the craftsmanship, innovation in design, and customer satisfaction that is the commitment from Coogan's Design Build for family and friends to gather together.
