MYERS PARK CHARLESTON COURTYARD Coogan's Design Build is excited to introduce the stunning "MYERS PARK CHARLESTON COURTYARD," a remarkable landscape that epitomizes outdoor beauty in one of Charlotte’s most inviting neighborhoods and surroundings. The design enhances the beauty of the area while providing a tranquil oasis for the homeowners. The landscape team offered a rich selection of landscape components that consist of a well-planned mixture of native plants and ornamental horticulture that do well in the local climate. The focal point of the courtyard consists of a handcrafted stone fire pit for relaxing with family and friends under the stars. The paths made from local flagstone lead to and around the fire pit while providing a functional and emotional "wow" factor that invokes excitement through the lush gardens. The uneven terrain of the site was one of the challenges. Upon the recommendation of our landscape architects, we terraced the area with a blend of select natural boulders and retaining walls for stability as well as aesthetic appeal. The warm earthy tones of the materials were selected to ensure that they blended well with the surrounding architecture and landscape to help link the indoor space and the outdoor landscape. In combination with the physical design, we created a romantic atmosphere with energy-efficient LED lighting that illuminates pathways and plants at night, so they can enjoy a different side of this courtyard during evening gatherings. The result is an incredible courtyard that reflects the homeowners' vision while demonstrating the craftsmanship and design innovation that Coogan's Design Build prides itself on. From concept to completion, the "MYERS PARK CHARLESTON COURTYARD" showcases our commitment to providing great landscaping. The homeowners were thrilled with their new outdoor room that combines relaxation, entertaining, and memories!
