About This Project

North End II | Chuck B Edwards Landscape Architecture & 3D draft version Located in the beautiful foothills of Boise, North End II is a bold, modern by Chuck B Edwards Landscape Architecture & 3D; an ordinary yard has become an extraordinary outdoor space combining visual impact with practicality. Drought-tolerant perennial and native shrub plantings co-mingled to create a symphony of color and texture suited to the native climate. We added beautiful stone paths with local basalt leading the way amongst seasonal garden beds full of blooms. This gorgeous water feature has a cascading waterfall, which acts as both a focal feature and a calming sound that invites you to come and relax. The north end of our garden was also one of the most challenging areas for us to address, with its sloped hill and rocky soil typifying the challenges of that area. As we do with many things, we used the latest science and engineering to build tiered garden beds that drain properly, conserving both energy and the lay of the land. Not only did this thoughtful approach maintain the integrity of the site, it also further engaged the visitor visually. The employed sustainable and high-quality natural materials, starting from the stonework to the other materials including an eco-friendly irrigation system which would ensure water conservation while keeping the plant life healthy and vibrant. The North End II finished, and the client was overjoyed with how the landscape doubled the curb appeal and how it created a gathering space for family outings and outdoor enjoyment. The thoroughness with which this landscape architecture & 3D rendered has been approached by ourselves, Chuck B Edwards would remind us that we are strong in the Boise area as well also to expand the reputation for quality landscape designs throughout the region.
