Kinghorn Gardens Small Space Italian Getaway Introducing the Small Space Italian Getaway Transformation at Kinghorn Gardens a beautiful conversion of a small city garden oasis into an Italian-inspired tranquil paradise. Our team very carefully crafted this to not only make the most space possible, but to also emit a welcoming environment in service to the communities of Bellevue, Bennington, Boys Town, Carter Lake, Chalco, Council Bluffs, La Vista, Millard, Omaha, Papillion, Ralston, and Elkhorn. The includes a whimsical mosaic patio using rustic terracotta pavers, reminiscent of the warm streets in Tuscany. We included fragrant Mediterranean plants around the patio, such as lavender and rosemary, as well as olive trees planted in articulated raised beds. The only sound comes from a charming water feature just a tiny stone fountain that creates a soothing trickle, further enhancing the peaceful ambiance. As you can imagine, space was a challenge, and required a number of creative solutions to present an open and airy feel. We tackled this using vertical gardening methods such as trellises sporting climbers to both conserve plot space and lend some height. By making sure the drainage and quality of the soil is ideal for growing these plants, we created a feast of colours over the seasons. The end product was a stunning oasis that made our client overjoyed, and now they are able to relax in their own Italian getaway on their patio each evening. This small is a perfect example of how Kinghorn Gardens provides both quality craftsmanship and a level of detail that is just as relevant in small parcels as it is in larger Landscapes.
