Orinda Garden Nest Garden Landscape Garden Nest Residential Landscape has recently completed a modern transformation that not only balances the natural landscape of rolling hills of Orinda while also complementing the lines of the architecture of the home. The exemplifies the quality and creativity the company is renowned for and is a true work of art within the Bay Area. BRIO encompasses such features as a harmonization of native plants and drought-tolerant landscaping to be both sustainable and aesthetically pleasing. The custom stone path, constructed from locally harvested flagstone, meanders through inviting gardens, leading guests through a floral landscape of color and texture. A natural stone retaining wall provides both structure and tiered planting areas so you can do more with less, with great visual appeal. The most challenging aspect of this was the extremely steep grade of the property, which necessitated creative erosion controls but the ability for the trees to still flourish. Our expert team designed a proper drainage way for the site where it can manage water properly even during rain. Secondly, we chose plants that are hardy and relatively low-maintenance and that do well in the local climate so the homeowners have less ongoing care to do. The end product is a magical backyard retreat to sit back and lounge in. When you bring the land to life with strategic lighting at night, the landscape turns into a magical part of the evening gathering. Clients were delighted with their new outdoor space, noting the crossing of practicality and aesthetics.
