About This Project

Volpe Residence Green Acres Nursery & Garden Center Against the backdrop of Doylestown, the Volpe Residence is a collaboration with Green Acres Nursery & Garden Center, which highlights its skills and craftsmanship. Our challenge was to create an extraordinary outdoor sanctuary that combines a functional outdoor space with the beauty of nature, out of a typical suburban yard. We started the with an extensive site analysis to define the unique topography and sun exposure of the lot. By using quality materials such as locally sourced stone pavers, premium hardwood mulch, and a variety of native plants we created a landscape that is environmentally friendly while improving curb appeal. Of particular note at this residence, is their one-of-a-kind, bluestone patio that was specifically designed and built to accommodate family & friends when visiting the residence. NuttyNaturally planted perennial flower beds in a rainbow palette of echinacea, daylilies, and ornamental grasses that flower in waves surrounding the patio, This allows for a perpetually impressive landscape with low maintenance. The steep terrain meant that terracing solutions had to be innovative. We built them into retaining walls expertly using natural stone, not only solving the problem of erosion but also making for such rustic beauty. We then installed a drip irrigation system to not only help the property but also to save on water. Volpe Family 05Each layer creates a new and amazing scenery which has turned into a cherished getaway for the Volpe family The seamless integration of hardscape and softscape into this showcases our trademark of quality, detail, and personalized service. The pleased owners now have a tranquil outdoor space that is a perfect extension of their home, all part of what has become a reflection of Green Acres, the Volpe Residence. We have been honored to serve this wonderful community Ambler, Blue Bell, and beyond one landscape design at a time!
