Berkeley by Bloom Concrete & Landscape Design Berkeley represents the artistic craftsmanship of Bloom Concrete & Landscape Design over the beautiful landscape of Yampa Valley and Routt County on the out-skirts of Steamboat Springs. From this huge landscape , a designer oasis space was created from previously utilitarian outdoor space, bringing both natural aesthetics as well as functional beauty. Across the was a mix of landscape including handcrafted stone pathways, beds of colorful flowers, and native trees that all suited the environment. Enjoy materials carefully chosen by our design team so that they will stand the test of time, from the locally sourced flagstone to the concrete pavers one can use to last a lifetime. Dustan Mulch & PlantingsEco-friendly mulch & drought resistant plantings not only look good but promote sustainable practices that align with the values of Bloom. The BDW faced one of its most significant challenges with the steeply sloped terrain of the Berkeley site, where conventional solutions would dominate the design of usable space. We engineered a sequence of terraced gardens that both offered scenic views, and allowed for better drainage to reduce the risk of erosion. We were able to make the most of the space available, whilst keeping within the same topography. The end product was a beautiful outdoor oasis our clients loved with a warm fire pit area, with plenty of greenery surrounding it as the perfect setting for family and friends. This combination of hardscaping and softscaping came together to create a complimentary appearance that makes you want to sit back and enjoy throughout the seasons. At Bloom Concrete & Landscape Design, we pride ourselves on lasting memories and making sure that our customers remember their experiences as pleasant and satisfying; the Berkeley was an example of the way we treat our work in relation to our customers and our products.
