Profile: Mediterranean Beauty by Outside InStyle Nestled deep in Los Angeles, our entitled 'Mediterranean Beauty' perfectly epitomizes the ideal California coastal living space, blending lush landscapes with chic design. Serving areas from Bel Air to Palm Springs, Outside InStyle adapted this outdoor landscape, to create a relaxing area, with a Mediterranean twist. The highlights exceptional elements of design - from pretty bougainvillea to aromatic lavender and classic olive trees. The plants not only add interest visually, but also give you the warm and inviting feeling of a Mediterranean atmosphere. At the centre of the sits an incredible travertine patio which allows for both durability and a beautiful outdoor surface for entertaining with family and friends. Alongside the patio, our design features gorgeous stone walls and terracotta planters, providing great contrast with the new design, while fusing architecture and nature together. One of the challenges we encountered during the 's execution dwelled in the slope of the property. This slope requencies consideration for terracing in order to establish both adequate usable outdoor space. Our team did an incredible job utilizing dry stacked walls with natural stone components. Retaining walls such as these easily provide a solid frame, while still becoming a part of the natural surroundings. Another charge was to also create an efficient irrigation system to fulfil the diverse amount of plants, without using excess water. The result of the entire is a beautiful outdoor retreat that surpassed the client's expectations - an oasis to escape to and entertain, surrounded by beautiful plants and vibrant colors. With great attention to detail focused specifically on local craftsmanship in mind, Outside InStyle has realized the beauty of Mediterranean landscaping while simultaneously reinventing and elevating the subject property = earning respect and admiration from all visitors.
