About This Project

Dell Residence - An Urban Oasis Client: Green Acres Nursery & Garden Center The Dell Residence is in the heart of Warrington and showcases the artistry of Green Acres Nursery & Garden Center. Our designers faced the challenge of turning a traditional lot in a nearby suburban neighborhood into an outdoor oasis, and with thoughtful planning and execution a portion of the yard was transformed into a beautiful space where form meets function. We started the with a detailed site analysis spotting key areas for improvement. We included diverse native plantings so that even though the landscape survives on little to no irrigation, it can still offer strong seasonal color throughout the growing months. We designed using the existing topography and to help block the view of neighbors we chose lush ornamental grasses, flowering perennials, and shrubs to create natural privacy screens. The biggest challenge we had to tackle was the sloped hillside that required a unique terracing solution. We build beautiful retaining walls using local stone to stabilize the landscape and add depth. This tough material is a complement of natural environment and gives rustic touch to the Dell Residence′˚s atmosphere. If there was any way we could take your outdoor experience up a notch, it was installing a stress-free, custom-designed patio with beautiful, high-end pavers and cement pavers that are built to last. Step into this inviting space ideal for family gatherings and summer barbecues. We set up a drip irrigation around the patio line to preserve plant life without having to pour water all timelessly. The end result will be a magnificent landscape that mirrors the dream of the home owner, whilst preserving the natural beauty around them. The Dell Residence turned an average yard into an outdoor oasis, something that excited and thrilled the client and increased the overall value of their home as well.
