Northern Influence by Carolina Landscape, Inc. Master Landscape Designers at Carolina Landscape, Inc. showcase 'Northern Influence,' a stunning landscape harmoniously combining both Lowcountry and northern style features into a single design. This Mount Pleasant-based was designed to better utilize outdoor living space while complementing the landscape in its natural setting. We assembled a careful selection of native plants, from beautiful azaleas to simple ferns and ornamental grasses that can withstand the coastal elements unscathed. By introducing natural stone paths and a striking flagstone patio that defined spaces while also drawing you in and inviting the homeowner to meander through the other lush gardens and peaceful sitting areas. One of those major challenges was the radically unlevel topography of the site, requiring extensive grading to achieve a balanced site. Leveraging our design development skills, we turned what could have been challenges into features by creating tiered gardens at varying levels which broke the steep slope down into digestible layers that demonstrated the angle of the site. And the custom water feature with a recycled stone fountain became an additional focal point, drawing local wildlife and contributing to the setting. The end product is a cohesive ground that embodies the vision of the client but also speaks to the character of the region. The homeowners of 'Northern Influence' are left with a beautiful entertainment space and great outdoor oasis, beautifully showcase Carolina Landscape, Inc.s dedication to quality craftsmanship and superb client service.
