Simple Elegance by Carolina Landscape, Inc. Carolina Landscape, Inc, working on the 'Simple Elegance' , was successfully able to make a residential backyard into an oasis in the midst of the Southern charm and coastal beauty of Charleston. For the picturesque Folly Beach, Isle of Palms, Johns Island, Kiawah Island, Mount Pleasant, North Charleston and Sullivan's Island areas, we designed a landscape fit for luxury. Native plants were incorporated throughout this , which also utilizes timeless design elements to ensure sustainability and easy maintenance. We have chosen a palette of locally grown, low-maintenance perennials, ornamental grasses, and flowering shrubs that will offer four-season interest and benefit local pollinators. Locally-mined flagstone paths flowed through the garden like light footsteps along a beach. The site's topography was one of the big challenges we had to overcome, which we did by designing a tiered garden. This both looked prettier and also helped drain away rainwater which, given the amount of rain we get here, simply sits in little lakes during the most torrential downpours. With high-grade soil amendments and natural mulch, our top-notch team set the plants up for healthy growth and long-term vigor. The outcome was nothing less than stunning. With elegant design of outdoor living spaces such as cosy fire pit area and greenery, this was exactly what the client was looking for to entertain family and friends. A state-of-the-art water feature with gentle sounds made the garden feel like a wonderful retreat; it was also custom designed. Located within the Queen Anne neighborhood, 'Simple Elegance' is a reflection of quality craftsmanship and the fine detail Carolina Landscape, Inc. delivers in the design and build process for any outdoor space into a possible landscape. Not only did this increase the eye appeal of the property but it also deepened the connection to nature that the client experienced and ultimately produced lasting joy and satisfaction for the client.
