Southern Grandeur | Carolina Landscape, Inc. The Southern Grandeur is located in the Lowcountry, where natural elegance meets exquisite architecture. This gorgeous landscape makeover by Carolina Landscape, Inc. adorns a high-end home in Mount Pleasant, SC, where our time-honored dedication to quality and precision has paid lucrative dividends. The includes an intricately designed outdoor living area with large sections of locally sourced tabby concrete hardscapes, providing both functionality and a reference to established Southern architecture. Beautiful flagstone walks meander through lush gardens to a custom-designed fire pit with seating for those starry evenigs. Highlights from the Southern Grandeur include the choice of plant species which are native to the coastal climate and thus appropriate for the environment context and will require little to no upkeep to survive. With fragrant azaleas, grand live oaks and sweet-smelling magnolias, our team created an immersive experience for the eyes and nose in every season. Creating terrain maps, which was one of the greatest challenges we came to face the site is not flat. Our talented landscapers graded this landscape for flow, incorporating tiered gardens that offer sight-lines yet still be draining solutions. Plus, we put in an irrigation system that keeps the green growing no matter the season. The end result is a stunning outdoor space that embodies the true charmer that is the south while remaining usable and comfortable for gathering. The clients were beyond thrilled and particularly commented on how the landscape contributes to their lifestyle, providing a tranquil space that aligns perfectly with the surrounding beauty of Charleston and beyond.
