Home Hill Pointe Dream Gardens Landscape Design & Installation, North Chattanooga Before and After: A Forgotten Hillside is Transformed Into a Daily Backyard RetreatThis expansive landscaping turned a steep, underused back garden into a beautiful outdoor living space that embraces the surrounding hills. This was a multi-level garden that capitalized on the beautiful views of Lookout Mountain, but had all the complex issues of a property on a hillside. We used beautiful materials, from locally sourced stone for retaining walls and paths each stone chosen for its rustic quality. To solve the problem of uneven topography, we created a specialized drainage system that allows the garden to last without erosion. A pond, the centerpiece of Hill Pointe, becomes a focal point in the landscape, which is beautifully laced with native plants and colorful perennial plants that emerge throughout the year, and it brings harmony with local wildlife in the area. Indoors and outdoors seamlessly blend in this flagstone patio designed specifically for entertaining family and friends. We also incorporated ambient outdoor lighting to accent the landscape elements after dark, making for a magical setting to emit in all seasons of the year for the homeowners. The end product added beauty and value to their home as any great Dream Gardens piece does, and left the clients well satisfied. It says so much our commitment to creating beautiful outdoor spaces that capture the true wonder of nature.
