Ciliberto Residence The Ciliberto Residence is by Green Acres Nursery & Garden Center. This masterful residential landscape transformation is located in a prime location in Doylestown and combines natural scenery and outdoor living spaces. Tackling the task of turning an adjacent underutilised backyard into an inviting oasis that can host the entire family outdoors. Step one was painstakingly lifting off old layers and cleansing the area for a contemporary floorplan. It includes a beautiful bluestone patio, which is great for entertaining, is low maintenance and easy on the eyes to boot! As a buffer to the patio, we included a variety of native vegetation, which creates biodiversity, requires little to no maintenance, and is ecologically appropriate. Based on existing drainage issues on the property, we designed a rain garden with decorative river rock and selected wetland plants for both beauty and utility. This helped prevent runoff of rain water, but also provided an interesting feature to the landscape. This yard features added amenities such as a embedded fire pit viewing area with placed natural stone seating surrounding, providing an alluring area for evening fire events beneath a sky full of stars and a winding pathway with solar lights illuminating the way through flower beds abundant with seasonal blossoming blooms. As a finishing touch to the space, we added a wooden pergola covered with climbing vines as a simple and elegant shading solution.
