About This Project

Green Acres Nursery & Garden Center | McVaugh Residence With modern landscaping by Green Acres Nursery & Garden Center, the McVaugh Residence lies in open fields in Doylestown. So for this one we did a ground up design on the space with a strong focus on blending natures colours with modern design. The initiative's centerpiece is a terraced garden filled with native plants, perennials and ornamental grasses, offering both beauty and habitat to local wildlife. We were particular with materials; we used natural stone for the retaining walls and pathways and considered after-use durability which corresponds with the overall aesthetics of the residence. Among the top challenges was the undulating landscape of the site. We designed an engineered solution, creating terraced planting beds that both mitigated the slope while providing interest drama in the landscape. An advanced irrigation mechanism was introduced that keeps the garden green in every season without wasting much water.
