About This Project

Bal Harbour Residence Set in the beautiful coastal community of Bal Harbour, this exceptional landscape by LandFluent Landscape Architecture is the embodiment of outdoor living. The landscape was designed with a lot of attention to detail and a blend of usability and elegance that takes the residence to a higher level. The features a focus on native plants to beautify the property, promote sustainability in the local ecosystem and increase visual aesthetics. Materials were chosen carefully, including natural stone walkways and rustic timber accents to provide the system with sustainability while remaining true to the architecture of the home. A sophisticated irrigation system was installed to enhance efficiencies and keep everything green, even in a time of drought. One of the challenges with this was the slope of the property, thus requiring innovative solutions for erosion control and infrastructure. Our team effectively incorporated tiered gardens and retaining walls into the design to convert the slope of the property from a challenge to a feature. This resulted in a beautifully layered landscape, with various opportunities to explore and interact. One of the most inviting spaces in the landscape is an artfully designed pool space along with a pleasant patio where the homeowners can host family and friends. A custom fire pit adds warmth and ambiance to create an inviting outdoor space for evenings. Upon completion, the client expressed their satisfaction with the transformation and appreciated LandFluent's commitment to quality and communicating their vision.
