Wilton Landscape by Sean Jancski Landscape Architects LLC In the idyllic community of Rye, the 'Wilton Landscape' showcases the artistry and precision that Sean Jancski Landscape Architects LLC is known for. This landscaping transformation integrates the exquisite natural beauty of the landscape with contemporary design elements. The itself involved a complex layout of native plant selections, balancing ecological sustainability while maximizing visual interest in all seasons. Beautiful stone pathways made of locally-sourced bluestone weave their way throughout the site, allowing for casual nature walks among the lush gardens. The thoughtful incorporation of handcrafted cedar raised beds enhances visual appeal while allowing the family to grow their own healthy vegetables. One of the main challenges of the was the site's varying topography. Our team implemented a tiered planting design to develop visual depth and mitigate erosion with a mix of shrubs and perennials appropriately suited for the local climate. A custom-designed irrigation system was installed so that water use was efficient and the reliance on maintenance was reduced for a healthy landscape. The highlight of the Wilton Landscape is the stunning outdoor living space, complete with a natural stone fire pit surrounded by ample seating. This gathering area serves as a focal point for family time or outdoor entertaining; all of which successfully tie into the landscape design. In the end, all parties involved were thrilled with the outcome of the site, and the client now enjoys showering in a beautifully modified outdoor sanctuary that reflects their lifestyle while ing an image of enhanced property value.
